The project is designed for schools, visitors, and anyone curious about bees. It transforms a walk past a beehive into a direct learning experience – simple, visual and engaging.
With The Digital Beehive, we bring the hidden life of the honeybee closer to people. Each hive carries a small QR code – when scanned, it reveals a short film about what’s happening inside the colony at that very moment of the year. The films follow the bees through the seasons:
Spring – when new life awakens and the hive bursts with activity.
Summer – the time of abundance, honey gathering, and buzzing energy.
Autumn – preparations for winter, as the hive carefully stores food and strength.
